TVET Schools in Ghana. The TVET (Technical and Vocational Education Training) program is a combination of both formal and technical and vocational education as a form of equipping Ghanaian students with the needed practicals and skills in achieving the country’s industrialization objectives.

  1. Thank God for the transformation process has been initiated. Technical education is the key to transform the now and future of our nation.
    With all these, there should be a foundation for the students to build on at the second cycle schools, looking at the tall list of TVET schools, we should be looking at how to encourage the younger ones at the basic level to develop interest in TVET education. Since the introduction of the new curriculum, teacher’s including myself have not been given the adequate training to develop the skills and to boost the interest of young JHS students. Workshops have been organized on countless occasions for core subject teacher’s excluding CAREER TECHNOLOGY which is supposed to be the main focus. Inadequate materials were made available for teachers to train students at the basic level. I am an engineer and a teacher. Please take a look at the points I raised an address them. Thank you.
